What We Provide:
Each level of basketball is different and training should be tailored toward each athlete’s needs. Therefore, Adam Lonon’s Basketball Skill Development Training sessions are designed to improve each player’s skill level based on his/her playing experience and age. Students between the grades of 2nd-7th, unless otherwise instructed, will attend beginner sessions in which basic skills, including ball handling, layups, correct shooting and footwork techniques, basic offensive moves and defense, are taught.
Intermediate to advanced players (grades 5th-12th) will receive the same attention to fundamentals, but depending on skill level, will also learn advanced ballhandling, pressure passing, perimeter moves, shooting, defense, agility, and footwork used, to become a complete player. College, and Professional players are welcome to attend sessions in the off-season. Players will perform the same fundamental drills used at the high school and college levels as well as advanced techniques taught to elite NBA and WNBA athletes. Although success is not guaranteed, with the direction ofAdam Lonon Basketball Training, the drills and techniques needed, as well as the values of work ethic, commitment, and sportsmanship, will be instilled to help players excel to the next level. Individual skill work will be translated into game competition with technical instruction, and intense game-situation drills. One-On-One: I will work with your son/daughter to refine fundamentals and improve their game through skill workouts, and instruction. Focus is put on specific areas of their game needing improvement in order to maximize their ability. Strengths and weaknesses are more consistently and fully addressed without the competition of other players as opposed to a camp or clinic structure. Doubles: Doubles sessions receive all the benefits of one-on-one training such as skill workouts and instruction, but with a partner of your choosing. Athletes can compete with each other in a structured skill workout, gauging their game against another player while still realizing where him or her needs improvement. Group: Group sessions consist of 3+ athletes. The group dynamic provides an atmosphere of competition between the athletes. A competitive atmosphere forces athletes to push themselves and each other to be better. At the same time, small groups also allow for training to be specific to the needs of each individual athlete while still maintaining the competitive atmosphere. Groups with 6+ athletes will workout for a 1.5 hr session. Note: All Sessions are offered on a monthly basis as well as individual training. *Please review the Registration Form for pricing.
